Anonymous asked: Hey Matt! This is Joey from Ithaca, NY (Mailing address was Lansing, NY). I just received the Lucero poster you sent, really amazing artwork. I really appreciate the inclusion of the other poster you did from them. If you recall a few years ago I got the Pelican poster artwork you did tattooed on my arm and I sent it in to you. I get a lot of compliments on it; you have a great talent at designing art with elements of beauty and death that work well together. thanks! -Joey Durgin
Hey man. Glad you liked the additional Lucero poster. Honored that you got my art tattooed on you. I appreciate all your kind words. I hope to start working on art again soon. I’ve been totally slacking.
Keep in touch,
Anonymous asked: Hi. Can I get your stuffed tattooed on me? Is that a dumb question?
You know what they say.. there is no such thing as a dumb question. If you want to get my art tattooed on you, I say go for it! In return I only ask that you send me a picture of it when along with the name of tattoo artist and shop where you got it done.

Here’s my poster for Thursday night’s LUCERO show in Philly. It’s currently being screened at Masthead Print Studio. Signed and numbered prints will be for sale at the show and on my site afterwards.
Signed and numbered. 27 on the “sand” colored paper and 13 on the tighty whitey
These posters are getting printed as I type and will be available at tomorrow night’s show. Super small run. Super kick ass bands!
Checkout the Fall/Winter 2012 issue of Slice Magazine to see my illustration for a fantastic (and really dark) short story by Caedra Scott-Flaherty. My work was also used for the cover! Some great artists contributed to this issue of the literary magazine including legends Dave Kinsey & Paul Romano.
